no good thing will He withold.  i choose to believe.

happiness begins on the inside, not dependent on circumstances littering life. i choose to believe breakthroughs will come. i shall choose to believe

in a way i think
creativity is the ability to tap into the resource of God
where imagination runs wild – into life.
and the mastermind of them all
is God

on what they’ve done or are doing?

on changes applied and adapted?

been stuck at this point where all i’m doing gets stagnated

it seems like everything that i do reaches a certain point -

and then freezes

it doesn’t feel good at all actually…

how about patience?

but patient in waiting for… what thing?

a near to 4 hours chat like time has never passed

but somehow also, left me heartbroken for a close friend..

like a sheep without a shepherd

life really changes so much.

even though you might not know it, thank you for reminding me gloria goh existed before this

and then i saw myself walking to shut every opened door

in this semi-dark circular room

what will be left after the doors are shut

will be me in a dark room all alone

the way i cause it to be at those points.

God was showing me an important truth

that light cannot enter if the doors are shut

i wonder if what i’d actually been doing the past day is worthy of its time. have just been replaying songs, replaying songs, and replaying songs.

im really thinking… there’re really so many talented people all over the world… and if there’re already so many, what is there that i have to be proud of? what is it about a person that makes him or her the master of a particular trade? what is it about the person who earns through his profession, as compared to another who perhaps have equal standing in terms of talent, but unable to break into the same industry?

is it luck? is it connections? is it a God-given opportunity? is it.. a destiny?

i really don’t know.

sometimes, over time i tend to assume things will happen. that it will just fall into place by itself. but to what extent is this true?

what makes me think it will simply happen just because of you have it in you? there’re tons of people with even greater potential who’re competing for the same things.

maybe it’s about staying connected to God, to His leading. about having the favor. but one thing that really struck me, is that it’s also about putting in double, triple the hard work? seeing how much energy successful people are putting into their work is showing me that talent is perhaps just… a ticket.

what am i going to do with this ticket in my hands?

i know it’s about putting it in the Master’s hands. but at the same time, how can i train myself so i’m ready when God-given opportunities pass by?

sometimes i can pick up the pen and words flow just a little more than usual. it’s fun being able to immerse in a fictional person’s story so i thought of a pre- and a chorus for ‘Jane’, a simple girl who basically blends into the background & isn’t given much attention because she’s not sophisticated by standard -

Who’s to say that the game is to play

with four others without her?

When it should be a game of five that’ll keep it alive;

Standing as the odd one out

i feel like a child needing a proper daddy’s hug

to let me know that i’m safe, i’m wanted, i’m loved, i’m protected

i wish God could hug me now

this is the season to be giving, and a time of celebration with parties and gatherings with people, together having a scrumptious meal.

& maybe this is the season to be serving, to give your family the best vacation of the year, to do the household chores and let your mother have a break for a few days. or friends could write each other notes accompanied with a gift, to show appreciation that hasn’t been given in 2010.

for me, it is also to give my time and energy to ensure the production runs the best it goes, that people get touched by what they watch from the huge screen.

gloria B dislikes the pre-15 yr old gloria. but what i can’t retrieve now by refusing to restore gloria A’s existence, is that i can’t look up into the bright sunlight and feel that life itself is amazing.

It is obvious when someone’s upset. No matter how good their acting might be, hurt is manifested in the eyes. You can’t bluff through the windows to your soul.

Sometimes you wish a word or some might do some good. Yet sometimes you might not know the right words to say. Sometimes all people need is a bit of understanding, of patience and a shoulder to lean on.

Who’s right? Who’s wrong? It doesn’t have to matter. Because at the end of the day, your kindness dispels the heart break which is not meant to stay.

It’s the sound of raindrops pelting the windows.

It’s a safe feeling – as long as you’re inside and not outside the room, or apartment

It’s a different story inside and outside.

One who freezes from the cold, making her solitary way back home without shelter. One can only guess how lonely that must feel. How unprotected and vulnerable. Unhappiness probably brought to the surface – I’d imagine dejection etched upon her face. there’s no shelter and the sky is dark. A lonely route back home.

It’s a different story for the one within the four walls of her home. Warmth, a cup of hot chocolate, curled up in the armchair with a good book. Atmosphere of a perfect cosy night. Contentment. The rain splashes, but not on her. It pelts upon the shut windows, emitting the all-too-familiar sound of rain. Yet concealed of its potential effect of distraught

A mommy hurrying while her little daughter waits

with mismatched socks

Rushing against time to be at school before the bell rings

It’s sweet the way family is existent in everyday life, instilling memories that can still be reminisced about 10 years down the road

well in reality it probably isn’t true

but in your state of mind it tells you so

will you still walk a walk of faith?

i commit to the word ‘yes’

no matter what kind, partake of the sufferings of Christ

with a smile (:

cos you aren’t alone. ignore your mind when it’s deceiving you!

resist the devil when he’s deceiving you

the word of God is my anchor,

let it go way deep

& let Your promises come to life

i saw the greens of plants growing

short break from studying! exams are coming and i’m feeling excited (for it to finally end) and a little anxious from the workload

nevertheless, God is good. why? because He is inherently good! good weather, bad weather, stormy days, joyful days, He deserves all praise and glory. & i know and i know a change is coming. and because i’ve been saved for a purpose, there is confidence for the future

what i am desiring in this journey (short/long term):

• FRUITFULNESS (it’s a must)
• Joy
• Kristos kai Kosmos

since young people have told me i daydream too much. but for this i really am dreaming alot of. and ultimately want to be able to say - this job in the secular is my ministry, cos this is where God has anointed me to be. not for self-interests, but to be strategically placed and used by God to restore things to His original intent and purpose

this place is so cold.. what’s the point in staying?

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” The presence of God is warming up my life right now. Just God and me? we’re bound to win

abundance of joy, blessings, & breakthrough is on the way! not going to stop believing. this is the time to hunger, thirst, enlarge for what i’d always wanted to have
